About Us

Vallourec and its subsidiary Serimax have been supporting North Sea customers from their UK and Norwegian bases for decades. In line with the responsiveness and premium expectation of the oil and gas companies operating in the area, the Group provides OCTG premium connections and services, as well as advanced welding and digital solutions including the revolutionary Smartengo services and tools, fully illustrating the appetite for innovation of this mature oil and gas area.

Vallourec Oil & Gas UK operations in Scotland include a threading plant & pipe yard, including inspection, rig-ready and stock management services in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire and a machine & pipe shop in Aberdeen (Bridge of Don), with facilities for accessories, pup joints and threading casing and tubing joints up to Range 3 joints (Roughly 40ft). VAM^® Field services operate from Aberdeen (Bridge of Don), where the regional sales office of the company is also located. The Group also operates a service and inspection facility near Stavanger, Norway and a sales office in Woking (near London) to propose Industry and Process pipes and solutions beyond oil and gas.

Serimax complements our Northern European presence with its welding expertise and advanced welding equipment from its regional HQ in Evanton. From this location, Serimax supports major client and stake holder TechnipFMC’s Spoolbase operations in the UK and Norway, as well as providing welding, fabrication and training services across the globe to its clients in a diverse range of markets.
