Historically present in Algeria, Vallourec opened a representative office in Algiers in 2017 to strengthen its local commitment and develop even closer ties with our Algerian partners in order to meet their expectations and support the development of the domestic oil and gas fields.

In the Algerian oil & gas market, Vallourec proposes a complete range of seamless OCTG tubes, including our premium VAM® connections. Vallourec also provides line pipes for the transport of hydrocarbons, as well as tubes for petrochemicals and refining facilities.

Moreover, the Group offers a wide range of services to its customers, such as materials expertise, well design support and technical assistance or yard management, which may involve the intervention of our VAM® Field Service teams to support the use of our products in wells.

Besides VAM® Field Service activities, Vallourec provides inventory management and inspection services.

We manage large stocks of tubular products in Luanda with the support of the last digital tools and technologies.

The digital inventory management solution Smartengo.Inventory developed by Vallourec is one of the daily used by our teams.

Vallourec has been very successful with all the main oil and gas companies operating in Egypt leveraging our global industrial footprint balanced between our highly competitive production routes and our premium products.

After 10 years of presence in Egypt with a Sales office, Vallourec has reinforced its position in 2020 through the incorporation of a Limited Liability Company. This new development phase aims at developing our domestic services offer as well as strengthening our presence in the OCTG and Line Pipe businesses.

From onshore oil extraction in the Western Desert to challenging offshore operations in the Gulf of Suez, and up to the most complex gas fields in the Mediterranean Sea, our teams are committed to meet all the Egyptian O&G operations technological challenges.

Established in Nigeria for more than 10 years, our industrial and sales activities for domestic and overseas OCTG supply are certified by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board. Vallourec also holds a Line Pipe Contractor certification for the Nigeria market.
